The last weekend of May, we ventured up to the cabin to go fishing with Arlie's dad. We went out on Saturday night (the only time we got to go) and the fishing was wonderful. For quite awhile we couldn't keep two lines in the water. Most of the fish were smaller walleye, but we did end up catch two nice sized ones. I caught two nice Crappies and about 10 walleye (some of which i threw back). The kids had fun although i think most of their fun was watching the fish in the live tank. We ended up keep 11 fish! It was FREEZING out and windy, but so fun and worth it! I was wishing we could've gone back out the next day, but we had to leave for Little Falls for Arlie's Grandpa's funereal. Although it was a very short weekend, it was so relaxing. Something about God's creation without the noise of the city that just puts a calming feeling around you!
